LEVEL DESIGNER
Collaborated with designers and environment artists to redesign level flow and encounters for post production
Blocked out and iterated 2 level redesigns using Unreal BSPs and existing kits to improve guidance and level flow
Redesigned encounters around pre-production documentation, new weapons, and new enemies
Iterated enemy composition of encounters from extensive playtesting to improve engagement and variety in combat
Modified cinematics using the Sequencer tool to match current layouts
TECHNICAL DESIGNER
Architected a camera cue system with the UX designer in Blueprints to better frame enemies and important level set pieces
Collaborated with the Systems Designer to architect an item drop rate system based on the amount of items on screen
Scripted triggers to lock players into combat encounters using Unreal Blueprints
Created a checkpoint system in Blueprints that resets combat encounters and pickups
Scripted loot chest weapon drops to work with Unreal Data Tables
